Mary Richmond
(1920-2002)

Honourary membership received April 6, 1995.

Mary Richmond was a member and chair of the RNABC Oral History project and was very involved in the subsequent development of the History of Nursing Group. Mary Richmond's distinguished nursing career which includes positions in staff nursing, middle and senior administration in health care and educational settings, faculty member in diploma, baccalaureate and masters nursing programs and consultant in educational matters. Mary's contributions to her professional associations are impressive including chair of the RNABC Committees on Nursing Education and Nursing Service and involvement with the corresponding national committees. She was co-founder of the Council of Hospitals with Schools of Nursing, a precursor to the Nursing Education Council of B.C.
