Occupational Health Nurses Group
1961-2004

Administrative History

This group was formed about 1961 to address issues and to convey information on matters relevant to the work of occupational nurses. Meetings of this group, a Professional Practice Group of the RNABC, were held, generally semi-monthly, in the Lower Mainland. The group conducted courses such as First Aid and counseling, and generally promoted professional development for their members, particularly through the invitation of guest speakers to their meetings. Some political lobbying for their group took place, and social events were also held.

The group has since been dissolved.
